Jennifer Lawrence Earns $500,000 Per Movie


Jennifer Lawrence became a millionaire and a successful actress at a young age thanks to her role in The Hunger Games.


Jennifer is estimated to receive $500,000 per movie and earns $850,000 annually. Her total net worth is reported to be $10 million.  She has also appeared in various sitcoms, advertisements and magazines.
Jennifer Lawrence started her acting career when she played Ree in the 2010 movie Winter’s Bone that earned her Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations. It has a total lifetime gross of $13,831,503 – $6,531,503 for domestic and $7,300,000 for foreign.

In 2011, she was cast in X-Men: First Class. The film, with a total budget of $200 million, has successfully grossed up to $353,624,124 worldwide, a domestic total gross of $146,408,305 and foreign sales of $207,215,819. On its opening weekend, it had reached up to $55,101,604 sales. X-Men: First Class was released to 3,692 theaters worldwide.

Jennifer also revealed she enjoyed the 7-hour makeup application as to perfect her character, the shape-shifting mutant Mystique. She also revealed there is no CG for her and the film is using the same technology they used on Rebecca Romijn, the original Mystique.

The X:Men Days of Future Past is to be released on July 18, 2014. Other cast members include James McAvoy, Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Peter Dinklage, Shawn Ashmore, Daniel Cudmore, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Adan Canto, Evan Peters and Boo Boo Stewart.
However, her big break came as Katniss Everdeen in the movie adaptation of The Hunger Games. This pivotal role created the breakthrough to success that caused a big shift in her career. The movie became one of the highest-grossing movies of all time with a worldwide gross of $686,533,290 and a total domestic gross of $408,010,692. The film was budgeted at $130 million.

The Hunger Games comes with three sequels scheduled to be released in November 2013, 2014 and 2015. Jennifer signed for a $10 million deal to reprise her role for the first one, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire coming out this November.
Jennifer revealed she made a big shift in her two consecutive films. With The Hunger Games, she needs to be smaller and thinner. While in X: Men, she needs to appear bigger and earn lots of mass.
Her latest movie is Silver Linings Playbook with Bradley Cooper had a worldwide gross revenue of $236,412,453 – $132,092,958 for domestic and $104,319,495 for foreign.
